What a neat hotel! Such a beautiful mix of vintage, modern and classic design. Loved my room, the crisp linens, Maine blanket, everything!

The staff was very attentive and hotel was perfectly located for the event that we attended. This was our first time in a boutique type hotel. Love the decor and speakeasy vibe!

It was clean etc. however, the red lights were frightening. Especially as I was there alone. It was hard to see down the hall and had a very creepy vibe.

I requested from Expedia a double beded room, but the hotel gave one bed. There were no microwave, not even a coffee maker, no hot water to make tea. I’m used to these things from others hotels.

Overall a disappointing stay. The staff were nice, but the building is definitely vintage. The elevator "lift" is a bit small and the gates are janky. If you are claustrophobic, I wouldn't recommend. It's was about a 3'x4' box. The size issue extends to the bathroom shower... Only a 2.5'x2.5' area with about a 20" entrance. Glad I'm a "small" person. Someone on the larger side wouldn't fit. The "area" rug over the hardwood floors was thread-bare, and the walls, being vintage, allowed a lot of sound through. I guess I shouldn't have stayed on Cinco-de-Mayo... An adjactent restaurant had their outdoor sound system set up, and partied loudly well into the night (being reverberated throughout this vintage building...). And finally, make sure to bring extra $$ for parking, as there are only paid lots and structures in the area, with many structures not allowing overnight parking. So overall, I was quite disappointed. What I had hoped would be a nice visit to Providence to see my family, turned out to be an exhausting stay at a somewhat noisy and "compact" hotel...

Hotel is very hard to find . The hotel name is not on it. Had to park in a parking lot next to it. $35 a night and doesn’t seem like a very safe area. Elevator is super , super small. Almost couldn’t fit my husband and I and 1 big bag inside of it. Had to crawl on to bed , because there was no space on my side to get in and of course no end table . They were suppose to give us 2 free drinks with our gold status, they gave us one boxed water and they said if we wanted the other they would bring it up to our room. The rooms are super small and they said that it was a suite . No counter space in bathroom and no where else to put your makeup on. Shower dinky. Hotel staff very nice .
