Beautiful property, beautiful location, and Pilar is very helpful

The property overlooks the pool and ocean, and has wonderful views. The home is large and comfortably accommodates a larger group. Pilar, the on-site manager, went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home and were well taken care of. Beds were comfortable, pool was clean, very luxurious.

Wonderful getaway!

This is a wonderful property--even better than it looks in the pictures. Very clean and with a well-stocked kitchen. The views from the balconies are amazing and we started our day each morning there. The pool and beach are steps away. Amazing!

Fabulous house

Great place to stay. Wonderful house, views and pool. Pilar was extremely helpful in arranging all our transportation and any issues we had. She was also there to greet us and to say good bye. Ward the property manager was also extremely helpful answering any questions we had. All and all we had 1 issue but both were very helpful in trying to take care of it. We will definitely stay again.

Amazing seaside Gem

We spent a week here with our 4 children ages 18 - 24 and had an absolutely wonderful time. The inside of this unit is even bigger than it looks in the pictures, we were amazed when we walked in. The rooms were really clean and despite seeing a review about bugs, we honestly never saw a single one. The property has a private parking lot with an automatic gate and the grounds are very well maintained. Pilar (the property manager) is an absolute delight. I was in touch with her a few weeks in advance of our trip (via WhatsApp) and was able to pre-arrange some details of our stay. Our flight arrived on the late side and by the time we had the rental car and made the 35 min trip to the property, it was well after dark. Pilar was there waiting for us, showed us around the property and the unit and then suggested some local places to go eat. We didn't need to ask her much throughout our trip, but for the few questions we had, she was always very prompt to answer them. It was very nice to have a local to run things by - she knows the area very well and has connections for any activity/chef/etc you could need. The unit is fantastic, beautiful art and plenty of amenities - even a refrigerator that gets it's water from 5 gallon bottles (of which they were well-stocked). The pool is so great to have and we spent a lot of time there, only footsteps from the unit and the beach (where you can take great walks in either direction. The little town of Puerto Morelos is a quick 10 min drive and has many great places to eat and drink. There is a great grocery store a block off the square and a farmer’s market on Wednesdays---you won't need for much more. We will definitely return!

Beautiful house with a beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Coralina (2 families with 3 children 9-11 y/o) in early August. The good: the listing is accurate, the house absolutely stands out in how well it is decorated for a rental house, the beds were reasonably comfortable, the grounds are well maintained, the shared pool is wonderful, and it was great to have a grill outside and pool floats for the kids. Also Pilar the property manager is a gem and you should absolutely follow her restaurant/snorkeling/massage recommendations! The less good: cleanliness was at best a 3/5 (lots of dust, lots of cockroaches despite a recent fumigation, and dirty plates and pots in the cabinets), the dishwasher doesn’t work properly, and the shower pressure in the guest room was so low we called it the mister and barely used it. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay at Villas Sole and that’s despite the ton of sargassum on the beach and in the ocean at this time of year. The beach looks amazing and the sunsets are magical. If the house was maintained better this would have been 5/5 for us because it is such a unique and beautiful property.

Just Fabulous!

This is a beautiful and beautifully maintained home with the most incredible views. The house is modern with all the amenities anyone would need for a short or long stay. We slept well on the comfortable beds and the kitchen has everything you need to cook fabulous meals including an outdoor grill. There is an outdoor pool and just steps away from the house is the ocean. Puerto Morelos is a short 10 min drive away and is a quaint and friendly town. The owner and Pilar (who manages the property) were attentive to us and made sure we were well taken care of. Don't give it another thought, just book this amazing house. We only spent a week there and are already looking at the calendar for a return trip. Five stars!!!

Simply Perfect

This property is just gorgeous! The owners have done an excellent job and paid attention to every detail--both luxury and practicality. The decor in the home is amazing! We love the local art and how the color theme just worked throughout. The unit was well-stocked with necessities, too--dishes, towels, beach towels, etc. The refrigerator was even hooked up to bottled water, so no worries on the drinking water or ice! The property manager, Pilar, was attentive and super responsive. She helped us get set up with locals for a snorkeling trip and provided recommendations of things to see and places to go. We loved Puerto Morelos and will definitely be back!

Great Unit & even better Property Manager! (Pus Hints)

The unit had great views and was decorated incredibly well. The property manager Pilar was incredible! The best we have ever had at a VRBO property. She responded quickly, answered questions, gave advice, recommended places to eat and visit even rented us bikes! The property had a few quirks. Ice maker didn't work so no ice until I figured out how to fix it for the last two days. No hot water the first night we got there but the next day it started working fine. The master bedroom door gave off an incredibly LOUD screech when trying to open an close it. The ants are incredibly intrusive in the kitchen . Don't leave anything out on the counter top and seal all food dishes. HINTS: The seaweed comes and goes on the beach during the year. We came to 3 feet high piles of seaweed. Giant smelly clumps all along the shore and in the water. This is the first snorkeling trip we went on that we didn't snorkel! The pool was awesome though. The turquoise loungers are reserved for this unit. There is no beach bar or restaurant(open to public) near the unit. We timed a 23 minute brisk walk towards Puerto Morelos to get to the first one. I'd recommend The Unico Beach Club or the Diver one next door. Had a great afternoon enjoying the music and drinks there.. If you want to try out an All-inclusive day Pass try "The Fives" $60 in 2022. The Chimichurris restaurant was awesome! It's next to the Grocery store in town. The nearest Taxi stand is 1 blk away at Dreams Riviera resort. They have higher prices because you are paying for the cut that Dreams get. If you can, stop a cab on the street before they get to dreams. I made a private deal with a driver to take us to XPLOR for only 750 pesos instead of the 1000 everyone else wanted. The little shack on the beach at the north end of the property came up with some great and reasonably priced tour packages for us. Garrett was VERY knowledgeable about the area and very personable and funny! If you like Pickle Ball there is a place in town to play but the winds were so strong the week we were there we didn't bother. Worst part was all the seaweed but we had fun at XPLOR, Cenote Zapote tour, Coco Cun Zoo and a birding tour So it was a great week in sunny Mexico!

Beautiful villa

It is a beautiful and extremely well decorated villa. We did not cook any meals there but it would have been fairly easy to do so. The view of the Caribbean is excellent as is the infinity pool. It would have been perfect if it had been a little closer to Puerto Morelos as it was not walking distance.

An Ideal Villa

This villa was ideal for what I had in mind. It was perfectly positioned for the best view of the pool and ocean. The home was the most beautifully designed and decorated I have stayed in. It was spacious, comfortable, stocked floor to ceiling and had every need anticipated and accommodated. The owners made us feel liked honored guests weeks before we arrived with their prolific, detailed communications. They answered questions, provided specific information about the area, local transportation, car rentals, activities, shopping, their personal experiences and preferences and local contacts. The only negative thing I can say about this villa is that it spoiled me! I will have a difficult time finding another accommodation that comes close to this stunner. I would gladly make it my exclusive "go to" vacation rental home if I could take it with me everywhere! I must commend the villa staff for their relentless efforts to provide flawless customer service. They were simply there whenever needed and assisted with anything with a smile. They were great and made us feel secure in the compound. This was our adult son's first trip abroad. I wanted it to be special for him. He was highly impressed. We were so comfortable, we "hung out" for the first four days of our trip before visiting cenotes, snorkeling and riding ATVs. We wish to thank our wonderful hosts for making ours an unforgettable experience.

above and beyond good service !

Our party of four had the pleasure of spending ten days in Villas Sole #7, owned by Ward Wimbish. Ward was very helpful preparing us for the journey, which was made a bit more complicated due to new COVID-19 travel requirements. Ward provided detailed information about getting the needed tests, which was a real comfort. The address of the home in a slightly uncertain manner by the city, and Ward helped us out with clear instructions and even maps to ensure we reached the house without trouble. What a lovely enclave Villas Sole is! The house is located in a closed-off area with several other houses, all quite lovely with pretty landscaping. There is a pool and easy access to the beach. The house was very well equipped, clean and very comfortable. We were very satisfied with our stay and look forward to returning. Of special note is Pilar, the manager for the house. Pilar is a gem. She stopped by on our first day in the house to make sure all was well. Very friendly and helpful! When we needed to print some documents, Pilar was happy to oblige, and she even scheduled a driver to take us to the airport for our departure. All told we really enjoyed our stay in Villas Sole #7, and we look forward to returning.

Sunrise in paradise

My family loved our stay at Villa Carolina. It's an amazing property. The views are beautiful, the grounds are lush, the beach is great for swimming, no rocks just soft sand. The house itself is lovely, it had everything we needed, was very comfortable and we enjoyed all the amazing artwork displayed. The proximity to town is a nice quick drive on quiet streets, we even ran in to the pastry man one afternoon for a treat. Our 11 days there were so peaceful and relaxing. Its a true paradise, in a cute town where everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful, especially Pilar. She was there to greet us, and show us how everything works and was always available if we needed anything at all. I cant wait to come back! ❤

Fantabulous!

I cannot say enough about this property, I really have nothing negative to say. EVERYTHING was superb! Ward was amazing right at the onset with the amount of info and comfort in renting the space. He provided details on the property, an arrival guide, tips on what to see/ where to eat. Best of all we had a prop mgr accessible at all times. The property is absolutley stunning and the best of the complex for its energy, layout, decor, light, VIEW, proximity to pool and beach. 10 mins drive to town which is so cute. Free drinking water was a perk. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your wonderful villa.

Wonderful Christmas Vacation

We stayed for a week over the Christmas holiday, we had a wonderful Christmas vacation. The location of the property and the property itself are beautiful, waterfront with beautiful grounds. Extremely private and quiet. The property manager, Pilar, was wonderful. We had so many questions prior to the visit and during and she was always a quick phone call or text away. She helped arrange many things including shopping for our groceries prior to our arrival. I highly recommend this property, you won’t be disappointed!

Breathtaking

We just got home from 10 days at this property and not only is it all it looks like in the photos; Pilar, Ricki, and many others in PM and La Colonia are amazing. Our family had a great time there; we had our two boys; 11 and 8 and they gave the whole trip a 9/10 and we spent most of our days at Villa Sole. The home and property is better than the photos and the whole process was effortless. The view is food for the soul; the beaches are great; there is seagrass but we weren't bothered by it; the water was rough with black//red flags but we preferred the pool anyway, the place is quiet, clean and peaceful! A great opportunity to rejuvinate and improve your Spanish!! Definetely a double thumbs up from this Canadian crew!! Thank you Ward and Karen for sharing this piece of magic. We loved the decor and the books; we added a few new ones and enjoyed many of the ones at the house. This place has everything you need to feel safe, relaxed, cared for and special. It did not dissapoint!~

Wonderful time, amazing villa!

We had a fantastic week with four teenage children. Ward was so helpful with information - we followed several of his suggestions and Pilar was very warm and helpful as well. The house is simply beautiful and there is so much to do right outside the back door! We loved every minute of our stay!

Very beautiful, roomy, and well maintained villa in super location with stunning views of the ocean

We loved staying here! Incredible experience to float in the infinity pool and look out to the palapa tops and cerulean blue ocean beyond. Visited a few awesome cenotes west of Puerto Morelos and still so much more to do. Pilar is super helpful and was key in helping arrange a catered dinner upon our arrival and hook us up with a few bikes. It was the perfect size for our group of eight. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Villa, Stunning Views, Fabulous Experience

Villa Coralina at Villa Sole is without a doubt the most lovely VRBO property we have ever rented. My family of 6 adults enjoyed every moment of our week here. The owners are incredibly responsive and accommodating. This Villa is located just steps away from the infinity pool and beach. The view from the patios and second floor terraces are stunning. There are beach chairs, rafts, and paddle boards for guest use. We cooked a few meals while here and found the kitchen to be well appointed and enjoyed the use of the outdoor grill. The Villa is a very short drive (or short walk along the beach) to the small town of Puerto Morelos where there is no shortage of fabulous food, cocktails and shopping. The "Mexican Walmart" Chadruai is a 10 minute drive by car to shop for just about anything you may need. The Villa location feels very secluded, yet is very conveniently located to town. This property is well loved. When you walk in the front door for the first time you sense that the owners really care about, and take great pride in, their beautiful south-of-the-border home. The Mexican art collection added a unique and unexpected joyful bonus to our stay. The Villa and the location are just perfect However, it was Ms. Pilar, the property manager that provided the icing on this proverbial cake! What a lovely lady. Her knowledge of the area, guidance and suggestions on where to go were spot on. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! What a fabulous vacation experience.

Wonderful, relaxing, ranks at one of all time best!

My family, wife and 4 adult single daughters, stayed here for 2 weeks in July and we absolutely loved our stay. The villa was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Despite the beach being inundated with sea weed, the infinity pool was very nice and is where we spent a lot of time. A couple of evenings we walked to dinner on the beach, which was a lot of fun. A couple of evenings we took a taxi into town for dinner. The food was outstanding. The first night at the villa we used the services of the recommended caterer Julia, she was excellent. We also did 2 excursions, one snorkeling and to a private island, the other one visiting Tulum, Caba, and the ancient Mayan ruins. Pilar was great making sure everything was going well our entire stay. We did not want to leave when our time was concluded. We rate this as one of our best ever vacations ever.

Paradise Awaiting!

This property has to be one of the best vacation rentals I have stayed in. Specifically because a few of us were there to attend a wedding two doors down in Dreams Riviera Resort. The house accommodated 5 adults spaciously. We all love to cook so the kitchen was perfect for cooking all meals. It is a safe and lush property. If you are looking for a relaxing and zen vacation, this place will not disappoint. My favorite part of this property was the infinity pool which is where I spent most of my time. Perfect temperature and memorable views of the beach/ocean. There is infinite things to do in close proximity such as a drive to Playa de Carmen (30 min) or a snorkeling trip which you can be pickup in the beachfront of the house. Pilar the property manager has to be one of the nicest people I know. She was helpful, accommodating and absolutely wonderful!

Lovely accommodation and location! Great pool! Very helpful property manager!

Small town is about a 30 minute walk along the beach! Renting a bike is a very nice way to get to town!! Having a car is very useful for local trips! Fishing was excellent! We used 2 hooks and they cooked the fish at a local restaurant! Tons to see and do in the area! Car rental is very easy and the drive from the airport is quick!! The villa feels very secluded and safe! You park the car in a locked courtyard! The villa is very lovely! The property manager is awesome and can arrange anything you need. She also has excellent local knowledge! The property owner is also super easy to deal with and very helpful! Highly recommended!!

A wonderful property steps from the beach and pool!

My group of 5 (myself, wife, daughter, and in-laws) arrived on a Saturday late afternoon. Pilar, the onsite property manager had arranged for a local chef to prepare our dinner, so we dropped our bags and explored the property. The home is very bright, and is decorated throughout with cool local art and very nice furnishings. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, two with gorgeous patios overlooking the pool and ocean, and a third with bunk beds looking into the garden. After dropping our bags and putting on shorts we walked out to the pool which has plenty of chairs, lounges, and Palapas for shade. Steps past the pool is private access to the beach, down a few steps and you're in the sand - a few more and you're in the water! As you can see in the photos there are more Palapas for shade as well. Since the chef hadn't arrived yet we grabbed a bottle of wine (Pilar also coordinated with me to stock the kitchen with a few "necessities"), poured a few plastic glasses and relaxed by pool before dinner. When we woke the next morning we all walked South down the beach to Puerto Morelos. The walk is nice, perhaps 40 minutes and with a few nice attractions along the way (I don't want to spoil everything). The town is real and seems to be made up of a combination of ex-pats, starving (or close) artists, hard working locals, and tourists. We enjoyed walking all of the streets to see what we could find. What we found was some of the best food I've ever had in Mexico (and this is my 5th trip). We didn't use the outside grill (I was overruled ) but we did use the paddle boards. We'll be back for sure.

Sweet Serenity

This property is beautiful inside and out ... the view from the bedroom balconies is beyond description ... from watching the sunrise (and cruise ships sailing to Cozumel) to the golden hours just before sunset (when weddings take place next door at the resorts!) and every hour in between - sitting by the infinity pool or on the beach next to the Caribbean ... Leave your cares behind and enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful and tastefully decorated hacienda. So much space to admire and enjoy. 50 min walk to town by beach or road ... bikes available for rent and taxis are available in abundance for 200 pesos one way. The property manager and grounds keeper are friendly and helpful (we give them an A+. :) Lots to do if you are so inclined (day trip tours of the ruins and cenotes, massage, ATV and snorkeling is a Must!) The Villa Sole complex is SO tranquil and beautiful - you'll be glad for days when you have NOTHING planned! :) The culture; food, crafts, friendly and welcoming faces of local people in Puerto Morelos made us feel at home immediately and guarantee a return visit.
