What you would expect from a dated but clean hotel. Convenient to all the venues of Wilksboro and North Wilksboro.

Everything was good ! Quiet and convenient to our event and really to anything you would want to do in the wilkesboro area. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was nice as was the in room coffee. Good place to stay if in this area.

The room was clean but clearly aged. Plenty of parking was available and it was close to several places to eat. Recent road construction made taking a left hand turn off the property challenging. Breakfast was very basic and poorly organized despite an ample dining area. I would have expected to pay less for a location in this condition.

We were not able to stay due to the rooms were dirty, under construction, not clean, trash everywhere and they refused to refund the money. I can't believe this hotel is allowed to do this.

Convient to everything. In a state of disrepair. Stayed here before but has gone downhill since last year. Green pool. Chairs, bedding and trash spead out and around outside to point it looks like a homeless encampment. Only good thing was big mike working front desk.

Horrible stay. All night noise with road construction and other unknown noises. Not much rest. Had to remove 3 stink bugs crawling on our ceilings when we arrived and a roach the next morning. Room smelled musky and outside by the stairs was a nasty smell. Sheets had cig burn holes in them. Place needs updating.Never again. Should be a one star or less. Not worth $85 a night. Please go somewhere else.

Staff was nice and accommodating. Its more like a motel situation then a hotel. Room was clean but smelled like cigarettes. I definitely let them know immediately (I wasnt about to get charged for that). Bed wasn't very comfortable to me. I had a hard time sleeping, but I guess you get what you pay for. The plus side was there are lots of stores in the area and eateries.

I usually travel with my own sheets so to me the fact that the sheets weren’t really clean, wasn’t the biggest issue, but the fact there were mattresses out in the parking lot the room was partially Renovato part of the tub shower, kind of a mess The neighboring room was just horrific. A elderly woman and her daughter were just beside themselves and I tried to see what I could do to help them their room sheets and blankets looked as if somebody that was dirty and just slept in them. Their mirror was so smeared up with something? The floor have a huge puddle of water in the middle of the floor. Their floor was very sticky just like ours was. Just not good And it was a bit pricey for the accommodations for sure

The reality of the rooms was not depicted well on the website photos. The room furnishings looked like a collaboration of left overs. I had to eradicate around 9 stinkbugs crawling on the ceiling, walls and light fixture over the sink. The light fixture over the sink worked from time to time. The holes in the sheets and paint splashes on the headboard did not inspire confidence in the overall maintenance. The carpets need to be replaced or cleaned. The breakfast amenities included good coffee, waffles, bagels and apples. I suggest some updated photos that show exactly what you will be paying for and let the travelers decide. Rather that approach then disappointment.

If you’re coming in late this is perfect for a place to just lay your head for$70 but don’t expect anything else. Breakfast was very minimal. You couldn’t leave the lobby with it so you had to sit there, that was probably the worst and the pool closed at 8 PM where most hotels stay open till 11 PM. It’s not as nice as the picture show. I think it’s a different property or maybe when it was in its prime.
