Book Red Mills Bed & Breakfast

"Saw negative reviews on Google and chose to ignore them, but indeed this was a poor choice. I'm not a smoker, but the smell of cigarettes does not usually bother me, however the smell of cigarettes in the hallways was nauseating and seeped into our room. The shower tub was still dirty so we chose not to use the shower. The rooms are pet friendly, and this we found kibble that was not swept up under the tables, chairs and beds. The mattress were on cheap and creaky metal bedframes. Overall was very embarrassed and regretful to have put my fiance through staying a night at this hotel. Front desk staff was nice enough, but I will avoid hojos and cheap hotels like this to avoid another gross nights stay "

"The gps put us into a dead end in front of hotel, had to figure out the correct way in, no sign at street. One bed was horribly lumpy, Breakfast was meh, but otherwise a good night sleep. "

"I chose this hotel in part because of 24 hr check in and I knew I would have a late arrival. I arrived at 12:05 AM, nobody was at the front desk, and I saw a sign that said "be back in 30 min". I was yelling for someone and also called the front desk only to hear it ring. 20 minutes later the front desk person walks in with food. I told the front desk person I was not happy having to wait in the lobby for 20 minutes. She then told me I don't have to be a d**k about it and said my reservation was canceled. I said I am not leaving until she gives me a receipt with a zero balance since I paid and made reservation online. She then threatened to call the cops, I said please do because I am not leaving until I get my zeroed out receipt. She then gave me the receipt as I checked into another hotel down the road. Horrible staff and horrible experience!!! If you advertise 24 hr front desk, they should be taking food with them to work and not leaving the front desk empty with a sign while they go out to get food."

"Our room had a ton of ants, I had to buy ant traps since it was the weekend I was told no one could help me. Shower curtain did not stay closed so the bathroom would’ve flooded after showers - could definitely use some TLC overall. "
