“Terrific hospitality and unbeatable location for Cape Charles or the state park.”

“Clean, nicer and responsive. I made a last-minute reservation. I was concerned at first because I didn’t know how to check in, left a message through the app, and the owner/manager replied right away and sent me all the info. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, but make sure to place the order at least the night before using the form or QR code in the room so they can prepare it for you. I will go there again.”

“The property definitely needs some TLC. Next to none nearby good food or drink. Bathrooms smelt like urine. I've stayed in historical homes before that didn't smell as bad as this one. My room was 80 degrees and wouldn't go down in temp. No friendly staff to greet you.”

“Sehr vornehmes Ambiente, schöne Zimmer, Kaffeeservice, feines Frühstück, nettes Personal - alles so wie man es sich wünscht. Das kleine Kinder nicht erwünscht sind, ist bedauerlich aber verständlich. Wir haben auch die Kajaks und das Bootshaus genutzt, ein Pool soll demnächst dazu kommen.”

“Overall our stay was very comfortable. The towels were clean and fresh and the bed and linens were extremely comfortable and nice. We loved the fresh baked cookies on the first night and wished they were provided daily as a nice touch. Soft drinks in the fridge would have been a nice alternative to only juices. Service in the dining room was excellent but breakfast on day 1 was average, however, day 2 was very good. We truly enjoyed our lunch at Pippin Hill Vineyard next door.”

“Clean place rooms very clean the staff is extremely accommodating and the location is wonderful quiet area even tho its in a small town I highly recommend Grey Swan. They went out of there way for me to assist me and my personal needs. Best place i have ever stayed i am 64 thats a long list to be at the top of being the best place ever. Met some iteresting people who also stayed at the Grey Swan.”
