“Considering the location, this alone makes Ponte Sisto worth it in comparison to other hotels in the area. Being next to the Tiber River means quick access to grab an Uber to other parts of Rome. The Vatican and historic sites are within walking distance. Throw in great service, an excellent complimentary breakfast and nice sized, clean rooms and bathrooms makes it a no brainer. I didn’t select Ponte Sisto randomly either. It was recommended by a friend who’s been to Italy many times.”

“I booked this property through Expedia expecting a hotel based on the listing and advertised amenities. Upon arrival, I discovered it was actually an inn/guesthouse with shared/common areas, which was not clearly disclosed during booking. The room was also in unacceptable condition. There was dirty cookware with food residue left in the sink, stains and marks on bedding and pillows, scuffed and damaged walls throughout the room, dirty shelves and furniture surfaces, and numerous signs of poor……
