“What a gem of a place. Everything was spotless, the room was lovely and one of the best things was the room had a small fridge for fresh milk, rather than those awful pots of uht you get everywhere now. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked with lots of choice. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Very friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble.”

“The services of the hotel were excellent and the staff were very helpful and polite. They worked extremely hard in all departments especially in the hotel rooms which were daily cleaned. We asked for a change to the feathery pillows and duvet and that was done immediately.

“One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It’s a lovely traditional hotel building (1920s shall we say?) which has been beautifully renovated and refurbished.
