"We had a great time. We came up for a weekend of fly fishing and hiking with our dog. The huge fenced-in yard made that a pleasure rather than a challenge. As other reviewers have noted, it's great to sit on the front porch and watch the dog run around/explore. And the bread from the local bakery that was there when we arrived was a very nice treat. "It was a very nice, quiet place. Very clean, with everything we needed. There are lots of places for hiking and taking walks, or just sitting outside and enjoying nature. "

We did not hear it all weekend but come Monday… whew! you knew it was there. No fault of the owners for sure! The driveway is a little tricky but doable. The locals are friendly and we truly enjoyed our stay."
