"Really enjoyed this little place. Peaceful and nobody ever bothered us. Great for a couples getaway. The bathtub was awesome. No trashcans, which was odd, but we just used grocery sacks and that was fine. The only other thing I didn’t like was we couldn’t control the AC. I guess it was controlled in the main part of the house. It was a little warmer than we like to sleep, but not terrible. Super clean place though and a really comfortable bed. "

"This lake house had everything we needed. It was my husband and I, our 4 kids plus 2 friends for the kids. This lake house had it all. It didn't matter if it was raining outside the house had everything we could have ever wanted. The lake was so peaceful I was able to not worry about the older kids taking kayaks out. It's a dream vacation if you want to just get away from the city. I loved every second, I can't wait to come back."

"Gentle Villa Retreat is a wonderful place to host a group. Our group of 27 ladies enjoyed the place, especially the pool and the hot tub. We had a movie night all in one room. We were able to all sit down an eat together and the same room was used for some group activities. The biggest thing was that there was enough parking. "

We were in town for a funeral and she had a very sweet card waiting for us when we arrived. This was a haven away from all of the hustle and bustle that surrounds a funeral. You can see the attention to detail in the available essentials, amenities, and the decor. They have provided everything you need for a stay away from home. Superb hospitality! You want to stay here…it’s so wonderful! "
