“Stayed only one night for a law school graduation. The apartment was clean and had properly locking doors. The bed was hard as a rock. Zero give, and my spouse and I both had aching shoulders and backs the next day. The biggest issue, something I have NEVER in years of VRBO rentals had to do, was submit not only my photo ID but also an additional selfie to get access to the unit. This was NOT disclosed in the listing (only said you MAY need to provide additional ID), and was incredibly intrusive……

“It was located in a very interesting area (Cherokee Street/Antiques Row) and was near many St. Louis attractions. The loft apartment was was really cozy, small, and nicely decorated. Very unique and creative! In my opinion, it would be ideal for an adult couple; the stairs to the loft bedroom area would be a challenge for some. The kitchen was well equipped with appliances and supplies. The private parking area behind the apartment was just right. The bathroom sink was rather small, but……

“The apartment was conveniently located within walking distance of many attractions in Forest Park, and several bus lines for those who are inclined to explore the city via public transit. The apartment provided a good amount of space for two people. We really appreciated the free passes that were offered. We did, however, experience a number of issues during our stay. “The apt”

“Good location. Parking garage is underground. You have to back out of it. The mattress needs to be replaced. The sheets need to be replaced with cotton. The lamps in the bedroom didn’t work. We couldn’t adjust the radiators, and it was too warm. They repainted the tile in the bathroom, and it looked like a child had done it. ”

“The carpet in the bedroom and rugs throughout are absolutely filthy. I wore shoes the whole time I was there. The washer and dryer work well, but aren't vented to the outside, so the tiny closet is full of old lint, and multiple upper walls in the apartment have lint on them. There are cracks on almost every wall, along with badly repaired spots painted in a different shade. There are mysterious stains on the walls in the bathroom. It doesn't appear that a deep clean has been done since the……
