“This is my favorite place to stay in the Rice Lake area. It is a charming lodge tucked away in a quiet spot right on the lake. Expect beautiful vistas year round. Each room is designed uniquely, several are pet friendly. Each has a view of and access to the lake. The staff/owners are friendly and accommodating. There are complementary non-motorized water activities in the summer and nightly campfires. Breakfast is fruit and a locally baked scone. There is nothing hotel-chain about this place. ”

“We enjoyed this quaint and cozy little cabin just as the snow hit Hayward. The place warmed right up and the accommodations were just right. Couldn’t enjoy the outdoor seating or fire pit but perhaps a visit in the summer will have to do! ”

“Information was exactly as listed for the cabin Location excellent, you can walk anywhere in town of Hayward. Cabins were formerly part of a little German built resort, so kind of close together, however area was very inviting and yes on the lake front with access to dock and canoe launch. ”
