Opened in 1889, The Polybahn, is a funicular railway in the city of Zürich. The line links the Central square with the terrace by the main building of ETH Zürich. In 1970 the polybahn closed, and in 1996 was completely rebuilt. There are 2 stops, with automatic 2 cars on a single track with a passing loop. The track is 176m long and rises 41m, with an average gradient of 23%. Aunque se escucha el ruido de la ciudad con la ventana cerrada se duerme muy bien. Hay una mesita con café y té todo el día.
