The house and location are gorgeous with lots of deer sightings. The kitchen had just about everything we needed to prepare all our meals. We stayed for a week and still didn’t manage to take advantage of all the amenities offered (fireplace, outdoor fire pit, boardgames, etc.). Located extremely close to the northern end of Lake Moomaw and the Hidden Valley Recreation Area. The gate on the front porch allowed our pup to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets with the family. We had no cell coverage in the area but the WiFi on property was extremely fast and reliable (better than ours back home!)Already eagerly planning our next trip here. They posted the picture of the lodge and mplied it was walking distance to the "Lodges \~Ski Trails" It is not. It is a dump of a place, across from a industiral site, which is a 50 minute drive from the lodge in the posing. The seller did not like my overly angry compliants; but said it was too bad for me. I sucked it up and said I would be reluctantly be staying. Then on the day I was to go there they cancelled my reservation - said I had "threatened them" (so they can keep the money?) . LOL what a looser. Let's see what VRBO and the credit card company have to say.
