It was an excellent stay, nice pool, good hosts, good food, great rooms.

If in Quito, a must visit for a few days! From the hikes, the view, the food to the hot springs, just a perfect time!

I arrived very late. The hotel owner was there to greet me and check me in. They accommodated a later breakfast time. Was very happy and would stay again!

Such a wonderful environment. Walking distance to touristic points. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Will definitely use them again in the future

I somehow thought this would be closer to the airport, but it was about a 30 minute drive. Nevertheless, Llalo was very clean, safe, professionally operated and the breakfast on the porch was ideal. The rates were appropriate for the lodging. I highly recommend it.

Phenomenal property and staff who went the extra mile to make you feel at home and also assist with all your needs during stay. Complementary SUV ride back to airport was a special touch. Classy staff and classy hotel - will recommend to all business associates and clients.

I was very impressed with both the people and the facilities. I traveled alone to a place that was completely strange to me. I never felt alone. Everyday at breakfast (very tasty) the staff made sure that my plan for the day would work. They had a sincere interest in my well being and my experience in Ecuador. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel. They made my trip wonderful.

The hotel is a marvel and the Manage of Operations Juan Carlos Rios is tremendous--he is everywhere--greeting you upon arrival, getting the bellman to take luggage to the room, park the car, then in the restaurant and even assisting with travel directions for your onward journey. LOVED OUR STAY HERE! Very clean, neat, & the staff was absolutely fantastic!! Food was great! Oh the saunas were so so so relaxing. The only reason I checked off the area outside of the property being unsafe is that Ecuador was under marshall law so we did not feel safe outside the hotel. BUT WE FELT TOTALLY SAFE & COMFORTABLE INSIDE!!! Did I mention how friendly the staff were!!!!! Cannot wait to came back!

What a beautiful place

What a lovely property. Very historic and the plants and wall paintings give it a welcoming touch. Excellent friendly service, especially from Daniel. Breakfast was also very decent. Very good location in historical center, but the only drawback is that the hotel is on a street that has a lot of noisy bars. Best to request the very quiet rooms in the back. Otherwise a perfect stay.

My husband and I so enjoyed our three night stay here over Easter. Everything was superb, and I can't recommend it enough. We had dinner in the hotel on the first night, and the food and service were so good, we weren't tempted to have dinner anywhere else. Choose a table in the conservatory, which is like dining in a jewel box. I highly recommend the strawberry "carpaccio" served with basil ice cream. Beautiful, clever and very tasty!

The hotel is located in the historic center so walkable to all the sites. It's a lovely hotel and the rooms are large. The service is exceptional! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

Location: perfect for us, walking distance to Old town, lovely view of Virgen de Panecillo from veranda and dining room. Has a very relax atmosphere. Wifi is great! We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite... 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Excellent unit. A/C worked perfectly. The dryer actually got hot and dried our clothes. The kitchen was fully stocked with a real coffeemaker (not the horrible single pod that most hotels now use). There was a full size refrig and freezer with ice trays. This hotel was wonderful all around. If you are looking for something fancy then this place is not for you, but if you are looking for something that feels like staying in a friend's home then you will love this. This place feels more like a B and B than a hotel. The service is top-notch. They will arrange airport pickup and dropoff for you. It is located in the old town close to all the churches and museums.
