"After an initial mix-up of the rooms we were given a really nice 2 bed apartment overlooking the sea with a private hot tub. The hotel itself is really nice, very spacious. We had a 2 bed apartment which was massive and had a really good kitchen. The on-site restaurants are good but expensive ($30 USD for a small pizza), but kids' meals are reasonable. The biggest issue (not fault of the hotel) is that there is big sargassum issue from March to June which means you cannot enter the sea from the beach - this was a major disappointment as no picture shows this and there is a strong smell over the entire area. The hot tub is nice but the design meant that water could fall down (onto people walking below). The pools are small but fine. Taxis to the village are very expensive at $25 USD for 2 km but there are free bikes to use on site. The dock is great. Overall, I would recommend outside of the Sargassum season. "

They thought of everything - beach towels, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, snorkel gear. Mirko is a great host and checked in often to make sure everything was going well. We loved watching the pelicans dive in front of the house and were lucky to encounter manatees while paddle boarding! "
