the resort was beautiful. loved the pool the kitchen was very nice .very clean. Eiden was very nice and helpful...activity director Karen was awsome and very helpful . making sure all our activities were set up. due to mother nature the beach was not available but there were other beaches near by. karen booked us a tour to check out the Mayan ruins and cave tubing with lunch included. we had an awsome time.....Eddy and Mike {tour guides} were really cool and made sure everyone was comfortable and was having a great time ,they also were very knowledgeable

The staff was so nice and saw to every need. There was so much food at all three meals, we didn’t even need the snacks we’d brought for our room. Alcohol drinks were expensive. Jumping off the docks on the lagoon side and the sea side was a blast. The lagoon was calm for paddle boarding the mangroves. There is a sea wall on the ocean side so you can’t just walk into the water, you have to jump off the dock. But they’ve made the sandy beach part beautiful with grass umbrellas and plenty of seating. There is nothing on the island but houses and boats (no store, park, etc) so sometimes the very few people who live there may come to the hotel. There is one sandy path to walk on and see the whole island. The internet was good and there are no TVs anywhere. Having the snorkel gear was wonderful and even though it was windy and the water was choppy on the sea side, there’s no undercurrent so swimming far with flippers was easy. If you don’t leave the island expect to do nothing but relax in hammocks and swim. If you’re an antsy personality you should plan an excursion for each day. We took a boat to the reef and snorkeled -best day of my life. The water is like no color I’ve ever seen.

We were the only guests on the property which we found to be odd. You couldn’t eat outside or sit on the beach because of the insects. On the positive side, the staff was outstanding, and tended to our every need. The snorkeling was spectacular and the best we’ve ever experienced. Our guide and captain the best.

The property was amazing the staff was very friendly always able to help the views were immaculate. I will be back.
