“The park, the trails, and the sights are beautiful and well worth a visit. The lodge and facilities are not. The lack of state funding for the property shows, which is unfortunate and sad. The good: The sheets, towels, and bed were clean and comfortable. At least there’s that. The common areas were trapped in the ‘60s, which could have been charming if not for the litter and bird droppings and dead bugs. “The Tail End Cabin in Red River Gorge was a perfect little getaway. We enjoyed the close proximity to the Natural Bridge park and other beautiful hiking trails. The hot tub was perfect for after a day of hiking in the warm weather. The property was secluded and had a relaxing vibe inside and out. So much fun!!”
