“The property has 3 tattoo shops across the street and a corner market behind it that attracted some characters. On the other side of the hotel is a park that looked beautiful but also added to a sense of insecurity about what activity we might be surrounded by through the night. The front desk clerk unlocked the door to let us in to the office. All of this initial “feel” was not something you can know by selecting from Expedia like we did. The room was fine, though. We just had no desire to go……
