“The cabins (Doghouse 1 and 2) were super cute and comfortable, and as listed. We didn’t receive the code to gain access to the cabins before arrival, and the host didn’t respond to my message and phone call. Luckily, there was a couple staying in the third cabin who happened to get there while we were standing in the parking area trying to figure out what to do. They knew the owner and knew the door codes and were able to get us inside. The beds were very comfortable, and the large sectional……

“Driving cross country with a solid 3 days of driving and a needed place to stay and rest before pushing on. What a fantastic off the beaten path place to rest and relax. Has a cabin feel but modern. A short walk out the front door down to the Rio Grande River to watch wildlife or to sit and have a fire just feet from the rivers edge. Don’t forget to look up once the sun goes down. The fall crisp clear sky reveals some amazing stars. Restaurants and groceries are just few minutes down the……

“the space heater in the main bedroom did not work. I asked for a working one.. which they said they would replace the following day.. but did not”

“No!!We could not lock the front door. Code didn’t work There was a large ice build up on front steps making it dangerous. We let the host know and we were told the team was contacted. ”

“The lodge was great, fit 25 college guys in it comfortably. The hosts were helpful and communicated with me quickly. Would definitely recommend this lodge for a big group.”

“House and hosts were great! There was plenty of room for our group of seven! We had everything we needed - right down to the box fans in the bedrooms! we went skiing at Wolf Creek and it was a short drive. If we had more time we would have used the sleds! We will for sure try to get back again! ”
