“The outside looks really nice, and the lobby and downstairs rooms are great. The rooms themselves are a little dated, with the carpet and paint bubbling and chipping on the walls. But, overall I enjoyed the stay, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. I really liked how everything was made in West Virginia, since it's a state park. And the breakfast was really good, too!”

“This property is an empty, abandoned gas station and has quite clearly not been in operation for years. I cannot understand how it's still listed on Expedia and Google, because it literally an empty gas station with no lighting and busted-out windows in the middle of nowhere. I drove an hour to get to this place, arrived in the darkness to find a condemned property, and had to drive to a nearby house to get help because of the lack of phone service in Wharncliffe! Expedia, how are you still……
