“The Gage was absolutely lovely for a weekend getaway- however — it’s was MUCH further from State College than advertised on Expedia- which said 22 miles. It was actually 37 miles- much further than we planned and made the weekend including WAY more travel- including late at nite- than we anticipated We had plans in SC- and travelled 4 hours to SC.”

“I was delighted to stay with Jayne and Hal. It was as if I were visiting dear family members. I enjoyed "hanging out" with them. I was made to feel comfortable and "at home". Their home is delightful, jammed with mementos of a fascinating life. It was ultra clean, ultra comfortable, and ultra friendly. The bed and bath rooms were super clean and comfortable with little touches like Q-tips which I had forgotten to bring. Jayne wanted to make me breakfast, but my unusual eating habits mitigated……

“Great affordable place to stay for a Penn State game! I was a little worried about the shared bathroom but there were zero issues with waiting for anybody. Jayne and Hal were friendly and welcoming, excellent hosts, everything was great!”
