There usually was nobody at the front desk—there were instead instructions to use the phone provided to summon someone.”

“This was our first vrbo rental. Very nice updated cottage. Clean, beautiful kitchen, everything was there to cook with. The hot tub was a bonus but was ok, would have been better if jets were faster/working. Didnt use the air conditioning, Said gas grill but was a charcoal. We caught walleye and muskies off the dock. “Not the cleanest. In bad shape. Lots of broken things. Too stuffy and hot to not have windows open but drunk of cigarette smoke from below if you did. I’m super sensitive to cigarette smoke. The windows were in bad shape. The shades were broken. The curtains fell down when I was opening them. The bed sheets are not clean. Found pet hair on them and other things. Pretty sure none of the smoke detectors are functioning. Over all the place is in a state of disrepair. Sorry. The location is...
