“Natural site, room is in high standard. The host is friendly and his cooking for breakfast is appreciated.
Though it takes 15 minutes walk from bus stop, the way around is full of natural feeling. You may breathe a natural smell or listen to sheep voice. It's an excellent experience and will highly recommend my friends to visit and myself is highly and likely to revisit again. ”

“I had a wonderful stay at Powter Howe, a real treat. The room and bathroom were immaculately cleaned and well kept and the host is a gem who cooks the best breakfast which includes lovely free range eggs from her own hens. Waking up in the morning to the view over a beautiful garden beyond the lake to Skiddaw was an extra treat as each morning there was a new ever changing Lake District vista. I'll definitely be back! ”

“Breakfast was excellent. Room was excellent.Only thing to mention that was my fault was to explain that I was coming by bicycle, so mine host would have been expecting me to arive by bicycle.
Host was excellent.”

“The hotel is in the beautiful city of Grasmere. There was limited parking even though online advertised available parking. When I booked online, the family room showed two beds. When we arrived, there was only one. The plumbing was very noisy and the shower was very narrow and hard to use. The bed was not comfortable at all. ”
