“Fabulous room on the 2nd floor, clena, very comfortable, everything you would need from a pint of milk to crumpets and butter, a wonderful bed (slept so well) shower and bath with the lovely handwash, shower gel, shampoo etc., I can't wait to stay again, it's very handy for the town centre and the Penny Blue served us wonderful meals”

“The value for money was outstanding with the off site Spa included in the price, ideal location for a walk to town for a few beers or a short walk to Brant Fell for some stunning views, will definitely be staying again.”

“The property was perfect for our 4 night stay. Sitting on the balcony in the afternoon sunshine watching the birds and, on two occasions red squirrels, was wonderful.plenty of walks from the door, Loughrigg Tarn, Elterwater( lovely food in Britannia Inn) and Cathedral cave(steep in parts but wonderful views). The only thing to be mindful is that the site has some steepish banks. The property has lots of books, cds and board games in case weather isn’t very good. All in all a very nice,cosy well……

“It was a fun, funky apartment superbly located in Bowness on Windermere. Even though we got a lot of rain during our visit, we took the ferry to see Hill Top Farm and explore the Lake District. We took a 10-lakes tour that worked out great for seeing this beautiful area!”

“Lovely comfortable lodge. Great beds, lovely and warm and great if you have a dog. Location was great but you do need a car to get to local towns (Ambleside and Windermere).Stunning park right on a Marina. Lovely bar and shop.Great comms from the owners and we would definitely stay again.”
