Good Place Farms B&B

Good Place Farms B&B
3.0 star property
Lexington
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (39 reviews)
"People were absolutely awesome at the Good Place B&B. I felt so welcomed during my entire stay, from checking in to check in out and every breakfast in between, which were great and delicious by the way. A great place to spend a few days away in nature, but a close drive to many historic locations and natural attractions in the area. The rooms amenities could use some improvement (new towels and linen come to mind). Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. "

"We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. Breakfast was excellent, and included an impromptu lesson from Bill on (re)construction of the premises. Unfortunately Judie was under the weather, so we didn't get a chance to meet...

Frequently asked questions

What is the nightly rate for a Bed & Breakfast in Tyro?
Prices for B&Bs in Tyro often vary, but you can find a great deal from $180 with Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as location and the time of year. It usually costs more to stay at Tyro B&Bs over the weekend too. Travelers can find the best deals by being flexible with their dates, and by using our filters to sort prices from low to high.
When is the best time to book a Bed & Breakfast in Tyro?
The most popular time to book a B&B in Tyro is from September to October, when the vibrant colors of autumn create a stunning backdrop for outdoor adventures. During this peak season, visitors can immerse themselves in the breathtaking scenery as the local foliage transforms, making it superb for hiking and exploring the nearby trails. The comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from the mid-50s to low 70s Fahrenheit, provide an ideal climate for leisurely walks and outdoor activities.

In particular, September stands out as a favorite month to visit. The early autumn days are still warm, and the crowds are slightly thinner compared to the height of summer, allowing for a more relaxed experience while enjoying the area's natural beauty. This period is superb for sightseeing, whether you're visiting local wineries or taking scenic drives through the picturesque countryside.

For travelers seeking a more budget-friendly option, consider planning your trip during December. While this month may see fewer tourists, it offers a unique charm with a quieter atmosphere and the possibility of winter activities, depending on the weather.
What is the difference between a Tyro B&B and a hotel?
Every Tyro B&B has its own unique feel. Whether it's a cozy reading space or a sunlit breakfast nook to enjoy your morning cup of coffee, the quaint details are what make bed and breakfasts a home away from home. Travelers can look forward to personal touches, thoughtful amenities and of course a scrumptious breakfast at Tyro B&Bs.
