“The cabin was cute, very outdoorsy but really cool. We tried to count all the bears in the cabin, we never could come up with an actual count. We looked all around in our adventure to the north for a bear to add and could not find one. Really nice place. The traffic was a bit much the first night but we got used to it. “Our host was quick and helpful with questions before we arrived (condition of roads, plowed driveway, specific directions). The cabin was warm and clean (it was -12 degrees outside when we arrived), the hot tub was hot and accessible, all the snow was plowed/shoveled in the drive and up to the doors. It was a perfect last minute weekend getaway even if it was frigid outside. We loved having the hot tub and fireplace. Only minor complaint is we had trouble getting the wood that is available...

“It was the perfect location. We had a fun day trip to Taquamenon Falls and Whitefish Point. We also enjoyed the casino in Sault Ste Marie and even ventured over the river to Hiawatha Highlands for snowshoeing. Loved the warm fireplace and view! The bed was comfy and cozy too. ”
