“Room was clean and staff was very friendly. I called the motel before arrival regarding delayed check in and Ron was very understanding and accommodated all our requests. Great place to stay!”

“The room was newly renovated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location in general was very good and our view of lake Michigan was pretty cool. The pool looked nice although we didn't use it. We really wanted to use the hot tub but it was not operating. The staff was friendly and there was a nice little free continental breakfast in the lobby. The Roku TV was a bit complicated (for streaming) but we ended up figuring it out; I imagine that some folks wouldn't have been able……

“The room had an awful mystery odor. We had to go and get air freshener. The toilet was not attached to the floor. Did not have extra rolls of toilet paper. We had to go to the desk to get one. Went to check out and get a receipt and no one was at the desk. Rang the bell and after a few minutes someone came out and they were in their pajamas. We would not stay there again”

“The toilet leaks, causing water on the floor that smelled like urine, the shower curtain was too short and leaked water on the floor, they gave us a handicap room which we didn’t need or want”

“Location was great. Good breakfast, clean room. Have stayed twice and always good.”

“The rooms are poorly soundproofed and shaded, we got bitten by mosquitoes at night. The servers are kindly and friendly, but they don’t even sever hot water. ”

“The staff was great but the owner should put more money into their investment. Maintenance is lacking and amenities were very worn (microwave, coffee maker, hot water heater- rusty hot water, furniture). The tv is about 12 inches. If you are looking for a place to sleep it’s not so bad- but if you want a hot shower with clean water this is not the place for you.”

“Older rooms, and very small bathroom. Although it was clean carpet was very old and stained. Conveniently located. No breakfast.”

“Stayed here so that I could kayak/hike Pictured Rocks. Stayed on the 1st floor. Got (at most) 2 hrs of sleep. People above me were partying. I called Expedia & they transferred me to hotel. I let them hear it. Made no difference. If you need sleep before a big day- this place is not it”

“The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to……
