“We liked the cabin; it was cozy and comfortable. The first 2 nights, we were the only ones in the property, so, it was truly an away-from-it-all vacation. Our pups loved it too and was super thrilled to see deer in the yard in the morning. The river was dried up (in November), but, the trees had turned colors, so, it was nice. This location is perfect if you want to visit Garner State Park and Lost Maples. ”

“I had a fine time, the location was good, the staff were friendly, the accommodation was clean and very well appointed. I would change two things in the listing. The wifi was intermittent and slow when it was present and though this is a "river retreat" there really isn't a river, looks like it's been dry for several years.”

“Beautiful place to stay. It is really quiet and the property on the back is farm land. The staff is so very kind and they have a pool. So many things to do in and around the town. Will definitely stay again.”
