Charming 2-bedroom cottage with water access in tranquil Oriental

Charming 2-bedroom cottage with water access in tranquil Oriental

10/10 Excellent
"Stayed two days at the property with several friends for a weekend fishing trip. Everything was in excellent condition, clean, and comfortable. There were whisper quiet AC units in each space to keep us cool in the summer heat and a spacious screened in porch with multiple fans to allow for night time socializing without having to worry about bugs or the heat. The house was a 10-15 minute drive to downtown and both area boat ramps. Would definitely recommend the property to others looking for comfortable lodging in the Oriental area."

10/10 Excellent
"The place is awesome and just what you need it to relax and get away from it all. Secluded and private right on the water. All the amenities you’d need are provided. Work remote or relax, you can do both. The kitchen is spacious and nice to cook in. Rooms are also spacious. Several hang out spots to chill. Forget about the world while you’re there and wish you had a couple extra days to stay."

8/10 Good
"The property and house were really nice. Very spacious and the dock was a perk but we had no luck fishing. Plenty of bait fish but no big guys. We were bummed about that because that was reason for booking this house. We made the best of it and still enjoyed our time."

Magnolia House Bed & Breakfast

Magnolia House Bed & Breakfast

10/10 Excellent
"If you plan to visit Oriental, you must stay at Magnolia House Bed and Breakfast! The innkeepers are so friendly and accommodating. They greeted me as I arrived and took me on a tour of the house explaining the available amenities. The house has a wrap around porch, perfect for relaxing in the evening (I stayed in August and was surprised by the mild evening temperature). I had to leave early morning and typically do not eat breakfast so they had breakfast bars and fruit available for me to grab and go. They also have a coffee and tea bar available 24/7 with snacks, wine, and beer. The entire house was beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable that once my head hit the pillow, I didn’t wake up until my alarm went off. I stayed in the Roe Suite and web pictures do not do it justice. It’s a large suite with two entrances, one leading directly to the room that has the drinks and snacks (very convenient). The sitting area has a large comfortable couch, tv, and bookshelves filled with books. The bath, with tiled floors, full-length mirror, large double sink counter space, separate shower and large tub, is as large as the bedroom! And I have to mention the location, right in the middle of town, walking distance to the waterfront, shops, and restaurants, and a short distance to the grocery store. The innkeepers have thought of everything including a welcome gift with chocolates and a package of Magnolia House coffee. I will definitely return."
