“We were in need of a nice, relaxing vacation and that’s exactly what we got. There were four of us (me, my husband, my 16-year-old, and my 11-year-old) and we each had our own space. We loved going down to the dock, and there is also a town beach just down the road. The home is filled with fun antiques and reminds you of a clean, well-kept, and charming grandmother’s house. We wanted a low-key vacation, and so we enjoyed short jaunts (less than 15 mins away) to Kent to enjoy its downtown and……

“We were not able to stay at the property but Katherine, the host, was very nice and responsive when we called for help. The email Vrbo sent with the directions to the property were not correct. It sent us to a totally different property in an entirely different location of the property we rented. We searched and searched from around 5:30 in the afternoon until about 7:30 but to no avail. “Through the neighborhood at the end of the quiet road tucked behind other houses is this lovely, tidy, efficiently laid out, well equipped home. The placement on the lot is perfect making it easy to forget you're only a few minutes from in-town Poughkepsie. This was also one of the cleanest rentals we've ever stayed in. Wish we'd found it when our son started college in Poughkeepsie rather than for graduation!”

“We loved our stay at the Rosendale Cottage, it is simply adorable! The perfect escape for myself, husband and our labradoodle for a long weekend. The two -nook style bedrooms and fireplace give it a super cozy feel. The pool was great and we made full use of the grill and firepit in the warmer weather. The house is conveniently located close to historical Kingston where we found lots of nice restaurants, antique stores and shops. The Mohonk Preserve is a great spot for walking and only about 15……

“This was the perfect size cottage for 5 of us, with two rooms with queen size beds and one small room with a twin. The setting was very pretty, and the salt water heated pool was a good size and my grandchildren enjoyed swimming in it. We were within walking distance of the small town, and I would recommend staying there.”

“This house was so incredible. Not only was it in a quiet nice neighborhood the inside was incredible too. Pool table as well as a pool it was perfect for my stay to have fun and enjoy our time. They were very communicative and welcoming to their house. Everything was comfortable and clean. Can’t say any bad things about this place. Definitely going to book again. I already miss it. ”
