“We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. “The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!”

“The house has charm, and a beautiful view from the living room and back closed porch. We brought our dog and he loved running in the closed off yard and walking around the area. it’s a super quiet and nice spot to stay! With lots of great food and towns in surrounding area. “The cottage had every thing we needed to make our stay enjoyable, The host and hostess were on hand for anything you need and very friendly The lake made for beautiful views and a very peaceful environment. We watched various types of birds: Heron, loons, ducks and a family of geese. There is a local store with pretty much everything you need. The Belfast area has numerous types of eateries, unique shops: a nice book store, a great toy store, a gem and jewelry and more! ”
