“Lovely waterfront setting—but the barking disrupted our stay We stayed in the motel section, rather than one of the cottages, and overall liked Colonial Gables. Our room had a comfortable king-size bed, a small table with chairs, a coffee maker, and a balcony facing Belfast Bay. The balcony had two tall, rather hard chairs, but it was still a pleasant place to enjoy the view. We especially appreciated being able to walk down to the water. Unfortunately, the neighboring room had small dogs that……

“The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!”
