“We very much enjoyed our stay on this beautiful property. It was very relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Casey. It's very close to Camden and Rockport. The facility is getting a bit dated, but still a wonderful place to stay. Would return and highly recommend. Also, I had the best warm lobster roll at McLaughlins in Lincolnville.”

“It was ok for the price and location to national park. There is no food on premises and only pizza and grocery store about 10 mins away and they closed at 9pm. Room okay looked like new paint and carpet. The beds hard and pillows awful. We found a blood smear on comforter told front desk all they did was give a new one which had stains. Ended up not using them at all. Balcony ok had a lot of dead bugs and no privacy.”

“We couldn't sleep at all all night because of a constant banging against our wall, couldn't find the source and there was nobody at the front desk, we wish to get a refund, this really messed up our week with one sleepless night”

“Recently very carefully & fully renovated 1950s-era classic wood-paneled motel rooms — small rooms but that’s how ALL independently-owned, moderate-priced motel rooms were in 1950s-‘60s — so if you want to experience “living history” — but super clean, newly carefully renovated, nice flower window boxes — then this is your place. Independent owners on-site, excellent maintenance throughout, housekeeping staff are carefully attentive/energetic/friendly, very good quality double bed, super clean……

“Great place to stay and in proximity to so much of the great attractions in Maine. The owners are fantastic helping folks navigate the area and provided extra amenities during our stay. My daughter loved it too. Other positives: easy parking, quiet, clean…. Would definitely stay there again.”

“Carol and Carl thought of everything! The inn was an old Victorian, thoughtfully decorated in Victorian charm. It had two veranda‘s which my husband and I enjoyed sitting on. Our room,the Emerald room, had a separate door that took us right out to the rear veranda where we ate breakfast, had picnic lunches, and beverages at night. There was a thunder storm one morning during breakfast that provided such a tranquil and relaxing breakfast atmosphere on the veranda. Which brings me to the amazing……

“The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!”
