“Welcome to Camp! Camp Deforest plays on the theme of going to “summer camp” and they hit it out of the park. The attention to detail for days gone by is top notch. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and fun. The campfires at night are surrounded by families, friends, and couples enjoying stories, s’mores and each other’s company. The staff is friendly and helpful and rest assured they can teach you how to build. Campfire.”

“I wanted to give them 5 stars as the grounds of the property are stunningly beautiful. The landscaping is perfect, the pool is beautiful, looks just like the photos. The rooms were fine, they were large in size but were dated (such as our toilet didn't work great). The problem was with the staff-while they were friendly they really didn't seem all with it for instance they didn't clean out room even though we specifically asked them to clean it, asked for black tea at breakfast and not only……

“Staff was very lovely and attentive, very courteous with their breakfast; the property itself was absolutely stunning and picture perfect clean and you can tell it was well maintained, that theme also followed into the room; comfortable beds multiple options for pillows. Also had a very clean bathroom, overall absolutely would stay again.”

“Carol and Carl thought of everything! The inn was an old Victorian, thoughtfully decorated in Victorian charm. It had two veranda‘s which my husband and I enjoyed sitting on. Our room,the Emerald room, had a separate door that took us right out to the rear veranda where we ate breakfast, had picnic lunches, and beverages at night. There was a thunder storm one morning during breakfast that provided such a tranquil and relaxing breakfast atmosphere on the veranda. Which brings me to the amazing……

“The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!”

“Winterport commercial house was amazing. The owners were so polite respectful just truly amazing people. I can’t wait to stay there again and I would recommend it to anybody.”
