“We were there less than 24 hours but the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Love the shuttle service. Very very clean!”

“Travelers need to understand that Nantucket is a serene, unplugged,and historic place. The Martin House is an excellent example of a historic house turned into a boutique B & B (breakfast is light continental). There is no elevator. You walk the stairs if you are staying on the 2nd or 3rd floor. We had a wonderful time here. Everything was a short walk from the Martin House. The manager, David, was gracious and accommodating and his homemade granola was excellent. Pastry choices were……

“So enjoyed our stay at the ever-so-charming Blue Iris in Nantucket! Needed a bit of help before we even arrived and were taken care of perfectly. We were always greeted by friendly staff coming and going from the house. We stayed in room #5, which was so cute and private. The room was small, but comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of space for 2. We even decided to spend a little extra time there in the afternoons because we liked it so much. Morning service offered coffee…and wine was……

“Everything was lovely. Room was presented clean and had everything you might need. Bed was super comfortable. Location was within walking distance from ferry, no car needed”

“No elevator. No bellboy to help with luggage. No coffee in room, but great coffee downstairs in lobby. Had to ask for paper items ( ran out of tissue, toilet paper, etc. and had to ask for fresh towels.) Out of three nights only once had maid service. Loved the night staff! Loved the collection of vinyls in rooms, plus extra ones in lobby. Loved the wine served in the evening in the awesome lobby by the fire. Best part was the locals, shops, and hospitality all in walking distance!”
