“The lodge was quite nice and spacious a very peaceful and quiet area real close to town. I highly recommend unless you were looking for the luxuries of a four-star hotel.”

“Carpet was damp. The water didn’t get very hot for the jetted tub or the shower. Water pressure absolutely sucked and barely had enough pressure to shower. The chairs on the balcony were cheap plastic chairs that felt like they were going to break when I sat in it. They left a full ashtray on the balcony from the previous stay. TV had very poor blurred picture. It wasn’t worth what I paid for the night.”

“I've stayed twice in a month.... it's perfect. It's an old roadside motel - but the owners have done a great job with the place. It was clean and comfortable and a nice chair outside of my door.”

“We had a bottom floor room with a door that led out to the patio which was right on the river…. It was so relaxing rocking in the chairs and watching the river rafting folks navigate the river!!! Beautiful place for quiet time in the morning!!! Also please visit Quirky Bird restaurant!!!! What a gem!!! Best Pizza we’ve ever had!”

“The room was large, clean, comfortable. The location was convenient and ideal for walking to downtown Sylva. Very pet-friendly, our dog was provided with a comfy blanket and a metal bowl for her water. Perfect.”

Also it will be good if items have name listed for breakfast so it will be easy for vegetarian to select. I will definitely plan to stay again if plan to go Maggie valley next time.”

“Rooms weren't as clean as I would hope. Beds need to be replaced. They are awful! Pool was nice and we enjoyed that. Staff was friendly. Decent for the price but won't stay again because of the terrible beds.”
