We can always rely on the Bay Mountain Inn to have a clean, comfortable room for us. We like to come to Cherokee to hike and gamble. The casino rates are sometimes outrageous. Bay Mountain is always our go-to.

One of the best beds I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. The hotel was clean. Staff was very helpful. The breakfast bar was heavy, heavy on the carbs side with lots of sugary options.

Good location. Front desk staff member was very helpful upon check-in. Room was spacious. Housekeeping never service the room, only dropped clean towels. Left dirty washcloths and did not service the coffee bar. Breakfast lacked protein and was heavy on carbs.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, well maintained, very reasonably priced, very close to but somewhat separate from the touristy areas. Food, shopping, things to do within walking distance. Laundry available. Staff helpful and generally available, or just a front desk phone call away. Would definitely stay again.

We liked that it is nice and quiet and they let us do an early check-in. What we didn’t like was that the electrical room was right beside our room and when we were in the hall, there was a bad smell that smelled like a dead rat.

It was an ok spot for the night. Bed was very comfortable. Front office smelled Weird and was extremely hot. I mean this is a no thrills hotel. Just a clean room for one night. We also booked from hotels.com and were charged 2 times. The front office said that one of the charges would fall off so I am hoping that will happen.
