“This home was very Beautiful and More Spacious than expected with a Beautiful back yard that we sadly didn’t get to enjoy because of the rain. The house location was great with A lot of stores and restaurants nearby. Next time we have a Family gathering I definitely will be rebooking”

“Relaxing, quiet and clean neighborhood. Love the retro decor. Kitchen is well equipped for those that might want to cook. A few branches were down in backyard, furniture wasn't set out yet such as outdoor dining table and chairs or gazebo, but overall property was in good condition. Thank you for a relaxing place to stay.”

“This vrbo exceeded expectations from the photos. The vrbo was extemely clean, well maintained, and our dog enjoyed the yard. We also felt very safe walking at night and really enjoyed the proximity to Oak Park attractions, and the green line el stop is a 5 minute walk away. We intend to stay again when visiting the Chicago suburbs!”

“Our five day stay was excellent. Description and pictures of the property are accurate and appropriately inviting. Location is very convenient to Geneva and the other fine Fox River towns. Hosts were gracious, responsive and helpful. Bikes in the garage were nice and the screened in porch and backyard sitting area very inviting. We hope to be back next time in town visiting extended family.”

“The house was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The downstairs area was the perfect size for me and my husband. We enjoyed the multiple options for sitting and watching the river (enclosed back porch, or back yard). Good birding, too. The neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed walking across the nearby bridge to the greenway trail on the other side of the river. We hope to stay again next time we visit the area!”

“It was a perfect location and plenty of space for family of 8 plus visiting friends. Mike was a great host and we got to enjoy some firewood he had set up for us to have a fire. Highly recommend! The description says 4 bathrooms and there are 3 bathrooms…the only discrepancy.”

“Me and my family stayed there and it has to be my favorite place when visiting family there was more than enough room for local family members to come and visit, the beds were so comfortable and the place was stocked with everything we needed. Communication was perfect we had to stay an extra day and they let us book it with no problem. Would definitely book to stay at again.”

It would have been nice to have another full-size bathroom but we did ok. The house was very clean. Furniture was comfortable and sufficiently-sized for the number of bedrooms in the home. “This property was overall pretty nice. We traveled with four adults and two pets. It would be nice if there was a gate at the back stairs to prevent pets from heading down there. The stairs are fairly steep. I know that Illinois recycles just about everything, but it would be very nice if there was a separate bin in the kitchen for recycling. It was not convenient to walk all the way outside and through the gate put recycling away. The upstairs bathroom lacked extra towels, there were no...

“The house was wonderful! We were in town for a school conference I had to attend. It was close to the location I had to be at while also offering privacy. Had an issue with the door that was fixed immediately and was kept in touch with about anything we may need. Great experience!”

“We stayed over Mother's Day weekend. It was a lovely house with two large family areas and TVs in every room and access to our streaming apps. We were disappointed the yard was not mowed w/tall weeds. Some of the deck is starting to fall apart. It wasn't suitable for the 3-year-old to run around in. However, the neighbors did say that the landscaping had been kept up last year. But knowing we were coming, it would have been nice to have at least sprayed for the weeds. The sump pump hose has...

“This place was great. So much space, it was clean and super quiet area. It was close to everything we needed and our host responded within minutes of request. If you have kids tons of space with pool. We travel year round coast to coast for lacrosse tournaments using vrbo. This house by far one of the best. We will be back!”

“The home was very comfortable - it was modern and the beds were good. Unfortunately the repairs to make it rentable were not high quality. The bathroom sink in the half bath was leaking when we arrived. The door frame of the basement bathroom had fallen off & was lying on the floor when we arrived. The shower door in the upstairs bathroom would not stay on the track. However , none of these problems would deter me from renting again. They were just inconveniences.”
