"An absolutely incredible place to stay, with gorgeous river views and even a lake. We stayed in a barrel which was so comfortable, I really did not want to get out of bed! The owner and others on the farm are kind, warming and helpful, and are clearly working hard to build an amazing space. I just wish I could have stayed longer!"

"Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! The hosts even offered to provided a telescope to use for the clear nights, which was a very nice touch (we did bring our own) We will be returning again in the future."

"If you need a bit of R&R i highly recommend this beautiful shepards hut. It has everything you need plus a few exciting extra's on arrival. The hosts were very friendly and made me feel so welcome. I stayed here for the weekend with my dog. There are lots of beautiful walks near buy and the coastline is breathtaking. I would definitely return to Apple tree."

"This little place a stunning we have the best time and great location There were a couple of things that I would add a long mirror in the bedroom would be great.And the bedding was so hot for this time of year fleece bedding and a feather duvet was a bit much.But we will be back."

Totally peaceful, with no noise apart from birdsong - just utter bliss.Our host was very attentive if we contacted, but left us to our own devices at all other times.Cooking facilities were great and you could quite easily stay here for the week without stepping outside of the boundary. "Because we had train delays we were late booking in.Not a problem though The friendly receptionist was very welcoming. The bed was huge and after a very stressful day we had agood nights sleep in the most comfortable bed. Checkout was not until 12 noon so we had time for a quick visit to the city centre which is about a 5 minutes walk away The train station is just across the road so this is a very convenient place to stay"
