“A perfectly acceptable place to stay. I've stayed there many times and some of the rooms are wonderful. Room 12 (that I was in this time) is not one of those rooms! It's small, noisy (yards with dogs outside), the bathroom is basic and the bed is not amazing either. Check-in was poor but there was only one chap on duty in a busy Wetherspoons type pub, so he didn't have that much time (or energy) to give me. All in all, just OK, not amazing.”
“An amazing renovated farmhouse with Nicky and Kevin as charming helpful hosts in the lovely village of Samford Courtney. Clean comfortable bedroom with en-suite. Great breakfast. Nicky provided clear directions to the Tarka Trail path where we viewed the sweet scent of bluebells. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay again.”
“This is real gem, hidden away in the Devon countryside, at the end of long private driveway - with rather too many deep potholes, a danger to your car's tyres and suspension.
Once you're there you get get a warm welcome - all of the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms are quite spacious. and the beds are very comfortable.
Dining is a speciality, and though the portions may seem small to some, they are beautifully prepared and presented, preceded by tempting amuse-bouches served……
