“Did not cook, but having the small kitchen is great for when traveling. Would love to see more yogurt options at the morning breakfast. “We checked in late night, this was just a in between stop for a road trip. Front desk staff were very nice. Room was very nice. Only reason we didn’t give 5 stars across the board was both beds had hair on the pillows. “Customer service by Elisha was excellent! Before arrival, she sent me an email to check on my status as I was unreachable on my non-US number and needed to confirm on my reservation. The place is so tranquil; upon arrival, I immediately extended for another night, knowing that I would enjoy the peace and quiet. “This was by far the best bed and breakfast we have ever visited. Mirtha has the kindest, most gentle and caring soul. We enjoyed getting to know her and her husband Mike. Breakfast was absolutely superb! Our room and the common areas were pristine. The location of this charming home and the views cannot be beat. “If you are looking for a place off the beaten path, this is it. Phone service is iffy until you get to the road (1/3 mile away) but there is host supplied internet for phones, etc. Our host, Dave, is very personable-- super guy. We stayed there while doing a tour of Tennessee state parks and this B and B is conveniently located for that. ”

“Everything was great. The place was clean and welcoming. There were no dresser to put your clothes in or ample hangers. Also the bathroom lighting should be brighter very hard to see for contacts and makeup. Mattress just ok. But since we were only there a short time it was not a problem. ”

“This home has spectacular views! Whether you are in the master, living room or doing the dishes the view is gorgeous! The Cedar Hill Marina is at the end of the street making it very convenient to get on the water quickly and easily. The house is spacious, cozy and beautifully done. “What a special place! Such a relaxing and enjoyable experience soaking in the springs and relaxing on the healing mats. The only downsides are the rooms are smaller and bathroom situation for larger people is a hazard for hitting your head or bumping into things. That's the charm though as it's a true historic building and it is part of the experience.
