“We stayed overnight before my daughter's wedding for a dinner in Stirling. I loved the vibe, historic Scotland on the outside, contemporary restaurant, bar and rooms on the inside. My bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great. It is a great walk to downtown Stirling. Only one thing I would wish for and that was air conditioning. However, this was July and not something one would encounter as outside it was chilly but the windows didn't really let in the cool weather.

“Limited parking space, staff is helpful and friendly, I can see lots of dog owners check in every time passing the reception. Limited resources provided inside the room which is understandable for this price range.”
“On first appearance this looks like an upmarket period property. We were in the garden wing which is not attached to the main building, so you have to go outside to get back in the main building for breakfast etc.
Our room was large, but the bed was barely big enough for two people, so even turning over was a problem. The main problem however was the smell. As we opened the door it smelt like we'd entered a swimming pool - the chlorine smell was overpowering. With hindsight I should have gone……
