Lovely little spot with extremely comfortable beds that were very welcome after a long day of hill walks! Easy check-in and the man at reception gave us some wonderful recommendations for meals and coffee in the town.

The location was good. Dining room was lovely and breakfast was good. Poached eggs cools have been softer. Room was a superior room. Pretty small Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was small and hard any room between the toilet and shower screen a larger person would have had a problem. Dont think it merited 4 stars.

We stayed with 2 kids in a family room it was ideal and better than expected for the cost and location. Added breakfast which was great value too. Staff friendly, clean hotel and they even kept my daughter’s beloved teddy safe until we returned to collect . Would stay again
