“We had a good time for Christmas with our big family, plenty of space, we had a few issues with stove but got a response right away from host, communication was excellent.Stores and beach right around the corner Bring plenty of repellent, other than that I recommend this place ”

“It was ok, few stores in the vicinity, major stores are in downtown Galveston over 15 miles away. No ice maker in the ice box or ice trays. Bare minimum of stuff to make your stay more comfortable. Air conditioning inadequate.I guess you can say it felt cheap. ”

“The host was great. However, we did not know that the home was a split level. One bedroom and bath on the bottom and the two bedrooms and one bath up on second floor. One had to go outside to get to the bottom bath. Also the door to the bottom facilities was swollen, so we had a difficult time opening and closing the door. The place was clean, but really needs updating and we wish there were some furniture in the bedrooms besides the bed and a night stand. No dressers. No coffee table. ……

“The house was filthy, we spent the first two hours cleaning before our family arrived. There was several weeks old trash in the can outside that smelled horrible. There were two holes in the floor that had to be fixed before our guest arrived - photo attached. One of the electrical plugs, left of the stove was pulled out of the wall and hanging. The toilet downstairs ran water all over the floor so we turned the water off to it and did not use. This was the worst place I have ever stayed.……

“My check in was at 3 pm but I arrive really early in houston and I was accommodated with a 9 am check on. I was dead tired and very much appreciated the accommodation.”
