The setting for the water garden to the outdoor fire pit and two open decks and hot tub to the tasteful furnishing fully equipped was a delight. Cooking, entertaining and for last minute items a short distance to nearest grocery. Highly recommend.”

“Windy Hill Lodge is an absolute paradise in the mountains! The cabin, and all of its amenities, were absolutely top-notch and the process of checking in couldn't have been easier! I don't know if there's better views anywhere in North Carolina! We enjoyed Windy Hill Lodge so much that we never even went into town… Just stayed and enjoyed the views and the great breeze!We cannot wait to return next year!”

“We have been renting houses for Christmas for years now and this one is perfect. Some of my crew is getting older and a couple have serious knee issues. I have never found this size of house all on one level before. The view is grandiose. We live in the mountains and the ascension can be quite tricky. This was fantastic. “We loved the breath taking panoramic views of the mountains! The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. The house was a great size with plenty of outdoor space with seating. The beds were comfortable. The host was helpful with things to do in the area and responded quickly about inquiries. Beautiful area to take our morning walks.”

“It was the perfect house for our stay in Sapphire for a wedding at the country club across the road from us. Easy and convenient! Rooms and bathrooms were all super spacious and the indoor and outdoor fire pits were our favorite part. The a great option for a cozy getaway to the mountains! ”
