“We enjoyed our stay at Portobello. The room and common areas were beautiful and well-kept. I would definitely stay there again. My only criticism was that the water was not working when I tried to use it in the early part of morning (around 2am), but was working fine other than that. ”

“This was probably the best hotel stay I’ve ever had. It felt like home as soon as my wife and I arrived. The staff was amazing. Food was fresh daily. Margaritas were delicious. And the hotel is steps away from the beach. My wife didn’t want to leave. Hands down, we will be returning.”

“The room and location were perfect. The only thing I would suggest would be to call ahead and make sure they have fresh towels. My room did not have any and I forgot to pack one. I arrived on a Sunday so it was hard to get ahold of staff. There is a front office person present at all times and if very kind and helpful.”

“This hotel is a rare pearl. It is a historical modern victorian huge building. The entrance is just majestic. You will find a security guard at the entrance that helps you with anything you need, taxis etc. A beautiful lounge and a coffee store. You also have a convenient store for snacks self service very modern. There’s a line of several stores in the basement, a currency change store, a souvenir shop, a pizza restaurant that is on the side of the store and it has a private entrance for the……

“The room was great! The hotel has a lot of character and is really unique! The staff was always pleasant and helpful as well! The only issues we ran into was that there was construction going on the hotel that would always start early morning, then there were also some issues with the water and it was unavailable. Other than that, it was an amazing stay and we'd be happy to come back! Maybe next time we can leave a 5 star rating!!”
