The hotel is located in the middle of Barranquilla so there are a lot of businesses nearby (places to eat, pharmacy, grocery store). The mattresses were hard and changing the water temperature was slow, but the rooms were clean. They have a well-maintained pool on one of the upper pools. There is a small gym on the top floor with a working treadmill (despite missing some panels), but equipment is limited and the A/C does not work; the views of Barranquilla from this floor are great, however. The rooms have A/C when the room cards are put into a slot in the wall, but there is no A/C in the atrium itself, which extends to the top floor. Breakfast was the best part—the soup was great, They served amazing soup with eggs, potatoes, empanadas, meats, and breads. The juice was very good and changed from day to day, made with locally available fruit.

The hotel is well located,but it is a very old property and is in need of repair. There is no hot water ,in the lobby there is no air conditioning .if they are going to go for just one nigth that is fine,but not to stay for several days . The staff very friendly,polite and attentive
