“Was a very peaceful stay!”

“This was our fourth (maybe fifth!) stay at Surfscape, and we will definitely be back again, hopefully soon . The house sits right above the ocean, where the powerful waves crash against the rocks and create the most soothing, unforgettable sound. The fresh salty air, the ever-changing ocean views, and the mesmerizing sunsets can be enjoyed from inside the house or out on the deck…just magical. Fun to go down to the tide pools…practically your own private beach. Never disappoints, always gets……

“Juli was very nice, accomodating and helpful before, during, and after our stay. Stayed for 4 nights in Feb 2026. A very beautiful home, well equipped, we used the king bed and bedroom, comfy. Had a couple of issues, Juli was on it. Hot tub wonderful and totally private. Had access to the garage, so I could plug my EV car in to charge with my charger. Nice view of golf course and distant hills. I was happy we could bring our little chihuahua, we brought his favorite bed and toys. Thank you for……

“Beautiful room, nice amount of space. The view was a little less than nice upon arrival because the estuary was at low tide so the outlook on the water was patchy. The following morning it was full and looked much better. In the room there was a single lamp between the two queen beds and it was hard to read a book with poor illumination. The bathroom shower was poorly designed and water went all over the floor due to the half glass wall. On the bright side, check in was easy, no extra charges or……

“No phone in room to call housekeeping. Front desk very rude Poor customer service. Nobody to answer questions ! The shower only has half a door, very hard to keep water from spilling to the room floor. No way to get help if needed. ”

“Home has major maintenance issues: heating was inadequate as mentioned from previous October review; fireplace venting issue causing smoke in the house; leaking skylight puddling water in the hall; other water damage around windows and black mold in bathroom.”
