“Very clean room with plenty of tea making facilities and lots of hot water, fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Helpful full length mirror in bedroom.
Some of the communal areas look a bit tired, but staff welcoming and room was great for my needs (staying overnight in area ready for family get together).
Great location for Hythe and walk along seafront short drive away.”

“The room was really lovely 4*. It was quiet, overlooked lovely gardens. Great size and nicely laid out.
But coming into hotel reception was dark and smelt of stale beer....we actually thought of leaving. Staff not very friendly or welcoming, apart from one person in breakfast room who was very helpful...Leo. Food and breakfast were all good. We didn't use swimming pool as it didn't look great and had read several poor reviews. But location was brilliant. Short walk into a lovely high street and……

“Good parking facilities. Hotel is right in town which is a real bonus. Staff were helpful and friendly. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. We went instead to a very charming cafe just for a change. Unfortunately the down side of the hotel are the rooms. We had a twin room, nice view and large. However the decor was very tired and frankly grubby. The bathroom was ok but if you tried turning round in the bath whilst having a shower you could, and I did, crack your……

“We stayed here as a stopover before going to Le Shuttle early the next day.
Great location for a stopover, check-in was smooth and easy, rooms very clean and nicely decorated…hotel rooms had a refurb in Sep ‘25. Good pub food as well.
Early checkout was also easy with a drop key box for those leaving before reception is staffed.
All in all for the price point we would definitely work this stop off into our travel plans for future France trips”
