“The property far exceeded our expectations, clean, tidy and warm, it is located in a quiet location on the grounds away from the main house any you feel like your totally self contained. The owner lets you be, and sent just a couple of courteous emails in case we wanted things like change of towels. the property is only about 7min drive to the centre of Canterbury. ”

“Fantastic property, we had everything we needed, host even supplied drinking water, milk, coffee, tea, sugar, shampoo, soap everything you could need, very big space, it was Warm and the host was very informative and friendly, only down side for me was the shower, as i am 6"2 and 18 stone it was quite small, my wife loved it though so you cant please everyone, we would visit again for sure.”

“The place was great. Clean, as advertised and sufficient kitchen utilities. The area is very close to the cathedral and the other touristy places. We had an old person with us, otherwise one could walk to most places from here. The host was also very helpful sending us clear instructions through the app.”

There was only a tea towel for our 5-night stay, so we bought paper towels and left the remainder for the next guests. The comprehensive house manual is something you don’t always get with a rental, but theirs was full of useful info about the home and Canterbury. “A wonderful cosy, quirky cottage, deep in the Kent countryside. Ideal location for walking dog owners, a couple looking for a romantic break or friends. Perfect for a short winter break. Lovely log burner. Relaxing and peaceful. A word of warning, very steep stairs. Felt like we were on a boat at times as the floors upstairs slope so much. This place has real character though and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, seeing the New Year in. Highly recommend.”
