(March 2019) Driving on I-5, spotted this USMC Osprey helicopter on the helipad, propellers turning. I pulled-off at a scenic turnout nearby. No sooner had I pointed my camera the helicopter began to lift-off! In the background is the Pacific Ocean shoreline.... and the closed (2013) San Onofre Nuclear power plant.

“The Leucadia Beach Grotto was a great find in this quaint seaside town. The private enclosed yard was perfect for relaxing by the pool and very dog friendly! I appreciated our host, Jason, welcomed our little pup with a bowl of water and dog biscuit. The place was super clean and the Keurig coffee machine with pods was an added bonus.
