“The staff was amazing! Like unbelievably amazing! Greeted at the dock, luggage taken care of, greeted with fresh watermelon juice, chef cooked such delicious meals (dessert included), housekeeping cleaned 2-3 times a day, cooper hooked us up with tours, everything was great and relaxing. 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the national park, 5 minute walk to the village. ”

“Das Hotel an sich war in Ordnung. Die Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeiter ließ allerdings deutlichst zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten an unserem Checkouttag mit Überschwemmungen im Hotel zu kämpfen wodurch wir vor dem Zimmer einen kleinen Fluss hatten. Wir baten die Mitarbeiter zumindest beim Transport der Koffer um Hilfe damit diese nicht komplett durchnässt in die letzte Urlaubswoche gehen. Hilfe wurde vom Personal diesbezüglich aber abgelehnt, Auch ein größerer Regenschirm oder Wagen wurde uns für……

“Staff were excellent especially Kaylor and the team, very warm and helpful with organising our tours. Food options also very good and place is quiet and in the middle of nature. Accomodation is ok, little bit rustic but then it is an eco lodge and you paying for seclusion and to be close to wildlife. Would recommend overall”

“Having read a lot of reviews, we expected Pachira Lodge to be a bit tired and for the food to be limited, but we were still disappointed, considering what we had paid for our stay. The setting in the jungle is great and we saw sloths and monkeys from the pleasant pool area. We were unfortunately not made to feel very welcome on arrival - no-one met us off the boat and we struggled to find reception to check in. While clean, the rooms were small and dark with nowhere nice to sit outside.……

“The staff at this hotel are nothing short of incredible. They go out of their way to make sure their guests are comfortable and taken care of. We did all the tours with their partner Tuanis Tours and found the guides knowledgeable and fun. All the tours went on a little longer because the guides were determined to make sure we saw all animals possible. They even made the tours enjoyable the few times we got caught in the rain. The hotel was also super accommodating and helpful when a storm……

“Fabulous stay at Miss Junie’s Stayed there a full week Room was spacious with comfortable bed and bedding Large shower with hot water a bonus Housekeeping was well done Veranda was lovely to sit on during evening Property is large with good sized pool Location at north end of town so less noisy than in town. Daily breakfast was plentiful and delicious Staff were the best part of stay - assistance with arranging excursions. Victor was always there with a smile. We would absolutely return”

“Der erste Eindruck war ernüchternd, da von dem üppigen Bewuchs rund ums Haus, der auf den Fotos zu sehen war, nichts mehr übrig ist. Juanita, die leider kein Englisch spricht, hat uns mit einem sehr leckeren Fruchtshake begrüßt und auf Nachfrage konnten wir ihre Waschmaschine nutzen. Weiterhin hat sie einen Guide organisiert der uns verschiedene Touren anbot. Soviel zum Positiven. Das Zimmer war zwar sauber, das Inventar lässt leider zu wünschen übrig. Es gibt keine Nachttischlampen, die……

“Die Zimmer waren wirklich sehr schön und die Lage direkt am Fluss. Natürlich toll. Leider ist von der Architektur her das Hotel ein wenig umständlich geplant dich bei räumen sehen eigentlich aus wie eine Kantine und sind innen ohne Blick auf den Fluss, während Aussichtspunkte und das Pool am Fluss legen und damit eigentlich eine schöne Sicht haben. Etwas kompliziert ist es an und abfahren immer mit den Booten, weil sie eben unzuverlässig fahren. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und teilweise……

“Cet hôtel est au milieu de 2 autres hôtels, l’evergreen et le Monkey, reliés par un chemin goudronné. Nous étions les seuls clients dans celui ci donc pas de buffet. L’hôtel est insalubre, aucune propreté, nous sommes restés 3 nuits et aucun ménage dans la chambre, nous avons dû nous sécher pendant 3 jours avec les mêmes serviettes à raison de deux douches par jour. La chambre est moite, très humide, ce qui rend le sol glissant.Aucun confort mais vraiment aucun. Ne vous fiez surtout pas aux……

“We booked tours with the hotel. The guides are very good. During the boat tour, Luis was spotting animals quickly. We also enjoyed the nightly turtle tour. You have to buy a permit to enter the national park yourself- ask them about it when you check in (or anytime before the tour starts)”

The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful, particularly Leo who was regularly ensuring that we were happy with everything. Breakfast is made to order to suit your preferences and was very tasty. Nice hammocks to relax in. The staff even took our luggage to the dock for us”
